Communities of Respect & Equality (CoRE)

Communities of Respect and Equality (CoRE) Alliance is a partnership of organisations, businesses, clubs and groups who share a vision for safe, equal and respectful communities in the Grampians region.

CoRE Members commit to the CoRE Strategy to Prevent Violence Against Women and their Children. This strategy guides individual organisations and collective work fostering communities of respect, equality and preventing violence against women.

Support for Members

  • Regional Consultants to guide learning, planning and implementation
  • Training on Gender Equity, Prevention of Violence against Women, Active Bystander, Gendered Violence, Intersectionality and Gender Impact Assessment (GIA) workshop
  • Community of Practice sharing knowledge and insights across a vibrant network of regional organisations
  • Resources to assist organisations taking action

All interested organisations are invited to apply to join the CoRE Alliance. We have a broad membership from across the private, public and not for profit sectors working in the Grampians region.

CoRE Friends Network

Join the CoRE Friends Network. CoRE Friends is open to members and staff of current CoRE member organisations. You can stay in touch and keep up to date on the issues of gender equality and preventing violence against women. Each quarter you will receive a newsletter full of inspiration, resources and opportunities to make our region a more respectful place to live, work and play.

CoRE Governance

The purpose of the CoRE Leadership Group is to manage the implementation and strategic responsiveness of the CoRE Plan. Leadership Group Members are drawn from CORE Alliance organisations.
